Colonists just wont wear pants!
I know this topic has come up before but I've yet to find one with a definitive solution to the problem. Has anyone else had it where you've set a clothing criteria (using allow all then eliminating the unwanted options one by one so as not to forbid an apparently invisible allow non-dead mans clothing option?) but the pawns will only losely adhere to the rules? For example I've got a criteria that says for them to wear a duster, t-shirt and pants. Then SOME of my irritating pawns go to the dresser, grab a t-shirt and a duster and go about their wandering/duties with no pants on.
To rule out some common issues:
I have about 40 of these items available, all brand new, in good condition (I only permit clothing 70% and up).
All my colonists have legs on which to wear pants.
The items are in an accessible place and available to use.
These are not colonists with the nudist trait.

What I cant understand is if I go and force my pawn to wear the pants, they usually eject another item of clothing. (ie I tell them to wear the pants so they throw off their shirt... I cant win!)

I doubt it's a mod conflict but if it is the only mod I have which pertains to clothing is the Change dresser and a couple customised clothing/outfits downloaded which I'm not currently asking any colonists to wear.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated!

Make sure you didn't grab the wrong slider and set them to 70% and down?

Otherwise it does sound like a mod problem. Certainly doesn't happen with zero mods.

Nope, slider is definitely 70-100% and normal-legendary, which I have plenty of in stock. And the reason I dont think it's mod related is because it hasn't always been an issue, nor attributable to any specific changes in mods recently. If it is mod related it would probably be a very bizarre conflict as my recent mod downloads oughtn't impact apparel selection at all as they're not behaviour altering mods. xD Then again I dont profess to know that much about modding.

I may just have to accept people walking around with their noonoos out for now because the alternative of mod scrapping or altering and risking other less favourable changes just doesnt seem worth it.

Update: As BlackSmoke suggested I have narrowed the problem down to my selected clothing choice and the conflict of mods. What I hadn't factored in was some items of clothing such as hoodies and carbon jumpsuits are offering coverage to the whole body, thus nullifying the need for pants (jumpsuit I now understand as these are usually fullbody, Rimmu-nation's hoodie not so much unless its a whole body hoodie xD). So long as I dont have these items selected, or accept that with them people just wont wear pants, my colonists get their act together and cover their bitsnbobs properly!

Ya if you inspect a piece of equipment you can see which area of the body it covers. Keep in mind there are multiple layers, so like clothing goes on the "skin" layer, while armor vests go on a middle layer, and dusters and such are an outer layer. There are some exceptions, like tribal wear is skin and middle layer, while power armor is outer land middle layer, so no vests with either.

I am pretty sure this was fixed.
