Any way to farm inside caves?
I usually make my base inside a mountain so they can't burn it down or break the walls. I made a new tribe, got great characters, and a very ideal map. Sadly, there isn't very much soil that is in the sun. So is there a way to grow stuff inside the cave?

Hydroponics.
(VGP?) adds some type of dirt plots that you could use with a sunlamp.

Yes, if there is soil you can use a sunlight in place of a sun

https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1202250958&searchtext=fertile+fields will let you place soil on smoothed stone floors (and do muich more). This permits you doing so from much earlier than a standard start in vanilla.

provides planter boxes, modular hydroponics and some different lighting solutions.

Not so much for your situation, but https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1108968677&searchtext=roofing will permit you to construct a greenhouse that can grow most plants without added light. If you're playing a game with a lot of drop pods or things crashing from orbit it's not a great choice but can be otherwise useful, especialy in nothern biomes or if you have fallout issues.
