Burned Wood Floors
I placed my colonists in Cryptosleep caskets then burned the base to the ground and all that is left now is Burned Wood Floors but I've noticed something.. the Burned Wood Floors never deteriorate/break down

it stays there ... for what seems forever..

I feel it should break down eventually

Trees and Grass all grew back around the area.

But the Burned Wood Floors remain *shrugs*

Never mind the floors.

That screenshot has bigger questions that need to be answered.

Well it was partially a joke. I was implying what's the story with the massacre outside. And the random assortment of resources.

With the wood floors yeah it would kind of make sense if they deteriorated. At the same rate as similar counterparts. But then again it wouldn't make sense because it's not an item it's a thing that's actually built. Even though it's burnt. Either way it would require coding an entirely new system in and there'd have to be a way for the player to check on the status of a floor which you can't do currently.

So, let me get this right. You placed colonist in pods, then burned everything down around them? WTF is the matter with you dude!

Update: Old thread, but it did come up when I Googled for a solution.

"Floors > Remove Floor" works on burned wood flooring. You can then place fresh kindling as desired.

You just have to remove the floor and rebuild it.
