Most Efficient Gun to Build
What is the most efficient gun to arm all my colonists with in terms of resources/utility ratio? I've been thinking of using the machine pistol or the carbine from Rim Arsenal Vannila.

The assault rifle is pretty good.

Gun turret. Have your pawn stand behind a wall with a shield on, diagonally next to it and repair it. Optimally it should be plasteel, but uranium can work as well.

For tribals, it has to be recurve bow. The melee damage on those things hit is simply amazing.

Rifles take a long time to build, which counts as a resource too. Hence, turrets are the most efficient.

But OP asked what guns to "arm all my colonists". I assumed that meant equiping them, but you're right if he'd asked about an overall cheap defense structure.

nah, the great bow is better.
mmm not quite as good with the way I play tribal. I usually use melee even with bows. The great bows have a shot cooldown timer where it locks your pawns in place and thus reduce mobility. I then use hit and run tactics with my tribal, until they tech up. By then, I play as normal.
