Unable to leave my zone
Hi,
My colonist is on a peninsula, with a one-side access.
When I try to form a caravan, in the configuration panel, it says that there is no access point.
I looks like my colony is on a island but its is not. It is a bug or have i missed something?

Is there a mountain or other obstruction blocking the side of your map that's open on the World Map?

If so, the only way to get out would be a transport pod. Don't worry, you'll be able to get back in normally.

(sorry about the edit, I noticed I left out a "y")

If there is any kind of obstruction, it's not on any side of my map (exept the ocean side, obviously). It drives me crazy when I see mercants and raiders come from at least 2 sides...

OK then, I guess I have to use pod, thank you, I was wondering if I could get back walking :)

NP! There could be other causes, that's just the only one I've noticed.

You could try to move with the dev mode and see if you can come back without problems. Can you try to post a world map screenshot ?

I just tried to launch a pod to the next case and immediatly come back to the base: it works but I can't the the map when my guy is in.

You need to clear a path through any mountains or hills blocking access to the northwest corner of your map so pawns can leave through that area, then you will be able to form caravans. NPCs don't follow these rules because it would be too easy to prevent raids by playing on an island.

I not sure to understand. There is no mountain chain blocking any side of my map, just a few chunk of rocks. The only full no-go side is the west side (ocean).

There should be an option to choose the departure direction when forming a caravan. Make sure it's aimed right and that there's an open path of somekind leading out of the map. I think it defaults to northwest.

Yeah, in the "Configuration" panel when forming a caravan. But that's precisely the problem: it says there is no available way. At all :/

Hmm well according to the screenshot you should be able to leave through the hilly terrain. Even weirder is the droppod bug. Can we get a shot of the colony map? Maybe someone will spot what's freaking your pawns out here.

Ah, that's the problem. Caravans need to exit off your colony map on the same side as the world map facing. Since your world map only allows leaving on the northwest, and in your colony map the northwest corner is blocked by deep water, they can't leave. If you use dev mode or a terraforming mod to fill in the northwest corner of your map with shallow water so your pawns can reach it, then you should be able to leave from that side and start forming caravans.
