Does buffed manipulation skills result in higher 'masterwork' chances?
Hey all, the title pretty much says it all. I have a dude with two bionic arms, he has 150% manipulation. I'm wondering if that has an effect on the quality of the item being crafted?

If not, then what does having a higher manipulation do? Increase work-speed? Increase accuracy?

i think its speed only, be nice if it affected quality too but no it should not work for anything that is not a core activity. Or else they would only spend 10 minutes on joy instead of 2 hours

Higher manipulation does, indeed, lead to higher quality goods. Doctors will bandage faster and better, artists and crafters will have a higher chance of producing better quality goods, etc...

I do not know the math (wiki probably has it) but manipulation has a strong part in it.

In case it's not clear on the wiki there, manipulation has no effect at all on the quality of any crafted or built objects. It's only based on skill level and inspirations.
