Hospitals and temperature?
Hi guys

I am currently setting up my hospital, the whole sterile floor and medical bed thing with monitors and what have you.

I was thinking of adding an air conditioner - to keep the temperatures in the hospital as cold as possible (but not being harmful to my people), because I know some diseases IRL won't spring to life if the area is too cold. Will this hold true in the game? Will a cold hospital help infections go away for example?

TIA

You will be thankful for the air conditioning in the hospital if you have heat waves in your biome. It may even save a colonist's life.
Unfortunately, I do not believe infections or diseases are modeled to take room temperature into account other than how that temperature may affect the colonist themselves.

Temperature does not affect healing, or infections, at all.

Other than the way they would affect the pawns normally.
It is quite possible to die of frostbite or heatstroke in a hospital bed, especially as the patient cannot always get up to change clothing levels.

You wanna keep it at comfortable temperature when it's being used. ~70

having a comfortable temperature can also affect manipulation. Good for if you have to operate and treatment quality
