RimWorld

RimWorld

No mod folder
I was fallowing a guide on how to install a mod, and I was in the rimworld folder, but the guide said to put the mod in the mod folder, but there is no mod folder. should I make a folder and call it Mods, or should I get some mods of steam and see if a mods folder is made? thank you.

There will always be a mod folder, since the core files (mod folder name of "Core") is required. The easy way to find it:

Right click on the game in your Steam library, and click properties. Select the Local Files tab at the top, and then click Browse Local Files. There's your RImWorld folder, and you should see the Mods folder in it.

Now, this is only needed for installing mods manually (such as the multiplayer mod, which is not available on Steam). If the mod is available on the Steam Workshop, you just need to subscribe to it for it to be installed.

I recommend saving yourself a headache and just subscribe to mods from the Steam Workshop. Steam will take care of it from there and it's easy.
