Can't connect to Steam API, all workshop mods fail to load
I've experienced this problem before and solved it by restarting the computer. This time no dice. I copied all mods to the RimWorld mod folder in order to run. Log file simply states the same as the error message, failed to connect to Steam API.

It started after the latest update. I did a repair, no change, so I deleted the steam dll and repaired, still no fix. Anyone else have this issue?

My issue is solved. I had a direct shortcut to the 64bit exe and for some reason the latest patch changed the way steam connected. Fix was simply to regenerate steam shortcut.
