Is there a way to change it from Celsius to Fahrenheit?
If its not in the settings is there a mod that does so?

If I had a six pence for every time I heard somebody wanted to return to imperial measurement after having gone decimal or switched from Fahrenheit to Celcius, I'd be a very poor man ;)
Not that I haven't heard it often, but that sixpence isn't worth much and Fahrenheit is so archaic.

Useless fact of the day.... the archaic term of "sixpence", based on imperial currency here in Australia, was changed in 1966 to... drum roll... decimal currency.

(And we went metric in '74.)

Yes, earlier than that actually and I remember it well. I could have chosen tuppence or thr'penny bit or shilling, but went for six pence. All almost negligible value today and that was my point ;)
(BTW I still keep a sixpence around for use in Christmas puddings)

Just found this as a trip down memory lane (good old Eamonn Andrews no less)

It's poor form to derail threads with your smug dbaggery.

Nah, it's just a flight of nostalgic whimsy, brought on by this topic's reminder of similar attempts to adhere to outdated measurements that I witnessed 50 years ago. Nothing more ;)

Backseat moderating is also poor form. Thread was marked as answered and subsequent responses - imperial and decimal/metric - are still topical.

I'll also just throw this in as an off topic snippet of interesting fact ;)
Celsius never devised nor used the scale that now bears his name.

You can see I've had some fun delving tonight, so thanks OP, I learned something new ;)

I understand Celsius but I use Fahrenheit to make sure everything is micro managed in terms of temperature and clothing
Currently it is under interface

Fahrenheit is superior for every day use because it more closely matches human needs. It also has finer tuning of being able to measure 2 or so degrees of Fahrenheit vs only 1 for C. That means your body can feel the difference between 72 and 73 F but you cannot see a difference in the C measurement scale when it reads the same as the measurement is not as fine. C is great for science though. Everything has its place.

Though I've never used Fahrenheit personally, it's helpful to know that it's based on 100 F being healthy human body temperature, and a strong brine solution freezing at about 0 F. Use Fahrenheit if you want salt pork back on the menu.
