That is (or those are) 2 squares (overlapping each other), big one turned with 45°.
If you want name it: Star polygon is the closest
googled two overlapping squares

thanks fam
not sure, I thought if I know the name I can research it and stumble upon more cool forms to incorporate into my basedesigns
Eight-pointed stars are pretty common symbols. The meanings range from use in cartography to elemental, philosophical and religious uses.
thank you, that is a nice read and the website is good too
I didn't realize what sort of site it was, just saw that the meanings given were fairly relevant to the requested info. At the very least, some of the ideas there can be used to form more accurate 'net searches.
I checked out the home page after reading your post. I saw some kind of Bob Lazar vid listed... I now think you should take anything coming from that site as a "source" with a fair bit of caution as to its legitimacy...
IOW - Site contains a lot of B.S. and "existential feel-good philosophy with a dose of extraterrestrial mumbo-jumbo" stuffs. :) Each to their own though, I suppose. But, at least there's a few bits in that post on the Eight-Pointed Star that is legitimate, else I wouldn't have linked it.
Note: Why was this in your game? Do you know?
Towards the end of the Age of Castle/Stronghold building, when gunpowder and cannon were becoming a true force on the battlefield, "Star Forts" became very common. They were even pretty standard fare in the early 20'th Century until just about any static fortification became vulnerable to armored units and aircraft.

One could use an eight-pointed design in Rimworld as a sort of 360 deg defensive base structure. BUT, Rimworld has mechanics in it that make it very easy for someone's base to not be vulnerable to attack from "any direction." And, a layered defense with two perimeter walls, forcing invaders to travel through constant turret fire, is the easier defense. But, if you want to build it, a Star Fort would be just fine as long as you have overlapping fields of fire and protect turrets from each other. It wouldn't be optimal though, but it might be fun. :)
nice!, googled it and found this.
i live really close to Naarden lol

I just only checked the page called mullah nasruddin's tales, it was a more comedical road towards spirit.
I question the legitimacy of all knowledge gained by the senses (as incomplete)
the only thing I am sure of is that we both saw what we needed to see.
but not sure if our thoughts during seeing it were the most optimal ones we could have had.
----
Nasrudin once worked as a ferryman. One day, he was taking a scholar across the river.
“Have you ever studied grammar?” asked the scholar.
Nasrudin shook his head, to which the scholar replied, “Too bad. You’ve wasted half your life.”
Soon a terrible storm blew up. The Mulla’s crazy cockleshell was filling with water.
Nasrudin asked, “Have you learned how to swim?”
No.” replied the grammarian.
“Well, then I’d say all your life has been wasted.” said Nasrudin. “We’re sinking.”
Wow, that's pretty darn awesome looking!
I really like the Star Fort design, overall. Not for Rimworld, but just as aesthetically pleasing, but highly utilitarian, architecture. There's a clear military purpose for that design, yet it's so darn beautiful. Star Forts, and any sort of older fort design, are pretty darn cool places to tour.
"Empire: Total War" has some cool Star Fort battles in it. Napoleon:Total War should too, but I haven't played that. Unfortunately, at least for Empire, fort battles are a bit tedious. But, if one wants to experience a sort of Star Fort battle, it's still pretty darn cool.
the evolution of fortified structures, i am starting to think its pretty cool really
