I am lost on the need. Why not just select a less cold climate location?

Or are you on like year 400 with 50 pawns and dont want to move?

Pretty much, I didnt think a Boreal forest would come with a permanent winter

All things considered, I doubt a mod like that would exist due to how easy it is to make a new game in a new location. However, I do not know.

Just make the whole base indoors with hallways between each location =p

If you have an extensive hydroponics bay this shouldn't be a major issue. Just hunt for a lot of steel and components and you should be able to solve this for yourself :)

You can edit the save to add a permanent heat wave to the scenario. If that's not enough of a temperature boost you can also try adding a permanent climate cycle event, which causes more extreme seasonal shifts. If both of those don't work, I don't know.

Use this mod for permanent heat waves:

There are mods I think for more extreme heat waves actually that might help as well.

I've had Boreal climates that were not permanent winters. You have to actually look around some and create a new seed if the current one isn't ticklin' your fancy.

Ok, there is a way, but it is really difficult, you have to exploit the user interface in a tricksy way to achieve it.
Start a new game.
Then the hard part: Select a place that does not show "permanent winter" in the climate descriptor.
Profit.

Only the colder ones. Boreal usually has seasons.

Boreal Forest usually has between 10 and 30 growing days, with 20 being the average.
