Help with marble
I have marble blocks but marble floors are not appearing in the floors category.

Do you have marble "Blocks", or only marble "chunks"?

Chunks are processes on the stonecutter's bench, to make Blocks.
Blocks are what floors, walls, etc are made of.

(you *might* also need for the blocks to be in a designated stockpile of yours. Shouldn't be needed, but I had problem building a crematorium until i placed my imported blocks into a stockpile)

I'm not sure what you mean by "not appearing in floors category", but just in case you are new, floor selection by default will be only wood.

If you click on the wood floor option, it should open up a wider selection of floors.

Did you choose a Tribal start and not have Stonecutting yet, if so then you'll need to research that first.

Also it they aren't in a storage zone the option may not show like M.K stated prior.

You can build flagstone floors before you have researched stonecutting, but you need that technology to build stone tile. So if the flagstone box isn't appearing either, not having the blocks in a stockpile yet is definitely the issue.

More or less. Wood is actually it's own floor type and you can't make wood floors out of stone. But in the case of flagstone or tiles then yes it will default to like granite IIRC (or limestone?) and you will have to select the granite flagstone for example and change the material to marble.

I see the default stone floor type show up as sandstone, even when there's none on my map. Clicking the upper right corner of the order tile will list available stone types in your inventory.

Then I guess I swung and missed on that both times. But ya things with resource options will have a default that will show up even if all resources are missing. For most things it's wood, for crematoriums it's granite, I guess for stone floors it's sandstone.

Thank you for helping me figure it out I found it.

Awww, you remind me of myself from a year ago when I had the same problem. It used to be separate icons but in the interest of reducing clutter Tynan opted for this way of organizing the construction tabs. You will find the same mechanic on furniture and work benches.
