For a specific world, with the same settings for coverage, water, temp, etc...
And for a specific tile on that world map,
the game local map will always be the same.
I do believe that the use of map re-roll mod breaks this.
I *think* I used map re-roll on that old save, unfortunately... I'll have to give it a try when I'm back home... *fingers crossed*
Mind sharing the parameters?
seed: prairie
All the default settings
World map co-ordinates: 17.77 and 33.77 (I think, not 100% certain)
Map size 275x275
Hit me up with a reminder message in about 7 hours, I'll be home by then and I'll double-check the co-ordinates to make sure.
Its a mountain map with only one, very small bottle-neck exit to defend your base at the start. Later on, you can move your defenses a bit further south to double your farm lands, with another, very small bottle-neck for defense.
Its not well suited for a huge mountain-base, however, as you'll quickly run into an "area-revealed" if you go north, with the new area revealed nearly doubling the size of the map... Haven't tried digging East yet, however.
