Dev Mode- Give Birth

When you make pawns give birth with development mode, does the child pawn ever become capable of more/walk faster or are they destined to be a crappy pawn? haven't tried and don't want to bother if not worth it.

The child pawn will go through the lifestages of a human, so 13 years before they become "efficient" and a couple of years before they move at more than a crawl.

I'm fairly certain in vanilla RimWorld the dev command for give birth produces a full adult colonist. I may be wrong though, it's been a while since I've played vanilla or dabbled with dev commands

im pretty sure they are age zero

also they can also give birth despite being infants

Even aged zero do they have "fully developed" skills or are they blank slates? As I said it's been awhile since I dabbled with dev mode

ya they are age zero and I'm mostly concerned with the movement speed. Which i'm relieved to hear that crawling disables after a time.

just tried it out and the kid was incapable of none which surprised me pleasantly. any videos I watched produced some awful pawns incapable of half the skills but maybe that was genetic bc i didn't see the parent pawn bio

either way, I've been turtling a colony and I'm trying to get to 40 pawns in the crew. I seem to have a stable husband and wife (famous last words) so I thought I'd give this a go. I can wait out a few years for some extra move speed. just keep them on clean til then
