Inspired Creativity and the result?
Is it based on each work left point done by the skill of the guy, and this trait?

Or is it just the final work left point that completes it for this buff?

like if i have a guy with say 11 construct, and a guy with 20, could i have the guy with 20, build something like a royal bed up to almost done so its much faster as these have ALOT of work done needed, then switch it to the guy with inspired?

Also, if you build a bunch of stuff out of value mats and un allow it right before its complete, to have that item just sorta hanging out till someoen gets a inspired, will it work the same then to have them just tap it off?

Last I checked it's whoever finishes it, regardless of the work done. So the answer should be yes to your questions. I haven't looked into it in a couple versions though, but I doubt it was changed.

Some items can't be taken over by another pawn. A bed can, but say, guns and armor can't. Which ever pawn starts the construction has to finish it.

If a lvl 20 pawn starts a bed and does 990 out of 1000 work, which ever pawn does the last 10 points of work will negate any sort of "bonus" the previous pawn would've gotten. Meaning that legendary bed is most likely going to come out as a normal, poor, maybe a good.

Most notably this also applies to Artwork.

i think furniture is the only item type that has quality and is not locked to a specific pawn.

It's based on "work completion." So, until that jumble of raw materials and previous work is changed into the intended item, nothing is caused to come into being forced to "happen." ("Inspired" to get quality improvements won't get applied to unfinished works.)

For the second question, as long as the in-progress item doesn't have a pawn's name associated with it, then another pawn can complete it. (ATM, I can't think of any "Bench" manufactured end-products that aren't associated with a pawn, though. It used to be a pretty big deal until some work/benches allowed pawns to remove some in-progress works and dump 'em on the floor. AFAIK, the Artist bench is still something that Tynan must love torturing players with, though...)

Basically, the best way to take care of this is just to manually order the Inspired pawn to go make whatever it is you want them to make.

ya, ive done this now 5 times to make marble royal beds :)

but learned after making a few normal ones that when you jump to a caravan reached x map, and go back to your colony map, the forbit on the constructs is no longer red x. so i started building a block infront of the door to stop guys going in when im waiting for inspired.

I REALLY hope you are selling those beds, and not trying to SLEEP in them?

Rocks do not a soft restful bed make.

you cant make a bed out of anything else, except bed rolls, which are from what i can tell meant for trips, not home.

While I do appreciate your efforts in trying to give your pawns a good night's rest, you may want to wait until you start making Royal beds or something for that kind of dedication. Or, just make sure you're giving your most skilled Construction pawn enough experience so they can make excellent beds. If they're not already routinely crafting excellent beds, it's not likely you'll get a Masterwork out of an "inspired" buff. (Well, not guarranteed at least.)

Still, not a bad thing to shoot for if you've already got everything else. Dining room things and the like should probably take precedence, fyi. Poker table, pool table, art, etc... (Was just thinking - I don't think one can mastercraft "Entertainment" items. :( )

You can certainly make beds out of others things. All my beds are Wood... Maybe you just haven't ever clicked on that material drop-down for Beds? :) (It happens, don't worry about it if so.)

It should default to wood, which means he's changed it to marble.

Only other solution is his game is modded and it's broken because of it.
