Sorry, I don't know every single item, stat, comfort rating, material and floor type there is in rimworld. I'm pretty sure FSX is used for mortar shells, something I've only used once and it was because I captured one from a pirate siege.
Thing is, not everyone uses CE. If you have a question about obtaining item X, it is best to see if it is a vanilla item or an item added by a mod. That would reduce the random guesses others would have. And if latter, add which one.
A bit of googling revealed that FSX is from CE mod and that you can get it by harvesting it from a boomalope.
Next time, leave off the self-important silliness; it doesn't work for you. Reality has a nasty way of always pulling on the loose thread...
1: You should know how to harvest animal products.
2: You should know vanilla boomalopes producing chemfuel.
3: You should know FSX is not a vanilla item.
To be clear, FSX comes from either milking boomalopes or from the distillery using the additional mod I mentioned, and Prometheum comes from harvesting blazebulbs, a new plant that need to be grown and harvested within a particular temperature range to avoid ignition.
FSX is used to make heavy shells like mortar shells and some large caliber ammunition and Prometheum is used for flamethrower fuel and stuff like that. You can also get both of these chemicals from traders and from drop pods, of course, or by spawning it in with the dev tool.
CE changes a lot about the game, especially if you add in its guns and use ammo. It’s a major overhaul mod, so it’s ok to have questions but it’s important that you understand that this is not a mod you can just install and roll on with. Do your homework, read the instructions and install it correctly and CE can be a ton of fun.
Skip that and be lazy about it and you can prepare yourself for a bad day.
First: I don't want to argue with you. All you say is 120% OK.
But one thing:
He knew FSX is harvested from boombooms.
He didnt knew how to harvest animal products.
That must be one of the LAZIEST statements i've ever heard.
Don't you bother to check the contents of your mods BEFORE installing them?
Ahh... Didn't see that. I was on my phone (been in jury duty all week) which is hard to read.
