Wood-fired generator not working

Hello-
I have a wood-fired generator which is not working, but it does not say why. This happened after a short a few tiles away.

The fire was put out and the conduit repaired. Now this generator does not work. It has ample wood, and is switched on, but it says "0 Watts," and there is a flashing lightning bolt on the generator.

Puzzling. I guess I could deconstruct the generator and re-build it...

Mods? I dont know what this is, but it sure sounds like a conflict

I'm not using any mods. After a while the generator started working again...

Do you have some demand in electricity? Maybe your solar panels / turbines covered consumption so wooden generator simply wasn't needed?

Solar flare disables power consumers, not generators.
But the most likely was simply that the unit was damaged and needed repairs.

I've been playing with mods and 1 of them is disabling my wood powered generators what mods could do that

Have you tried clicking "Reconnect" on the Generator?

Generators don't have a "reconnect" option, that's only for consumers. Regardless, I feel it's a bit of a moot point to necro a thread from two and a half years ago to suggest troubleshooting steps to the OP. (le edit: this directed at the necro from two weeks ago)
