It's interesting idea to check, but it's may be unrelated with psychopath trait. As love affairs are still semi-random, I'd sometimes pairs that don't really like each other (their hidden attraction stats were low) and they're rarely have sex if ever. So you need check hidden stats first.
AFAIK mood is unrelated with hidden stats. Mood is about how well they're together (=how often they chat with each other) and usually go down if they aren't doing same work or at least share same shift after their honeymoon.
Hidden stats are about actual sexual attraction and influence how often colonist A will try to pick up colonist B. You can't saw their effect without debug mode.
Edit: I'm just realizing... I didn't mean "plugged in" as in... you know. I just meant, let's take a step back and check the basics first before considering more complicated explanations. I hope it's clear that I wouldn't dare to use a potential double entendre like that purposely. ;)
