Second, if you think adapting a game to a new version of Unity is easy or likely to happen, you're quite simply an idiot. It would require nearly a full rewrite of the game! In other words, it's not at all likely to ever happen.
I've watched more than one dev suffer through this kind of "upgrade", and it hasn't been worth it yet. Not once.
I only have stutters because I play with BOTH the Psychology and Hospitality mod (It will spike for a bit when a major event happens; like 10 visitors leaving at the same time) but other than that I have no stutters or lag whatsoever. TBH it sounds more like an issue on your end, OP
*fails to post PC specs.
*FACEPALM*
Wow, my 11-year-old machine must be very impressive then, as *I* am playing with no issues whatsoever.
Right now, you probably CAN fix this by rolling back your video card drivers, though you will have to start at the oldest ones and start moving forward until you find which are stable enough to run without it interfering with system RAM (for some bizarre reason).
Your tip re: the drivers is, however, a good one.
people even where able to recrete this ony several different computers, as stated in the forum thread.
and as gpu is behaving normal due to diagnostics iam not sure if theres a correlation, i.e. dont see a connection between gfx and the software rimworld ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ itself with mem requests :D
Protip: Even if several people have the same issue, that *does not* even remotely make it universal, or "gamebreaking" even it it is. No one ever denied you were having lag issues, nitwit, but your opinions and use-case are yours alone. Funny, how you're SO defensive, yet you cannot accept others have a different experience, isn't it?
Deal with it or don't, up to you, but insistence won't do any better for you than it already has (which is, frankly, not great). You ARE done here, no matter how long you keep trolling yourself ^^'.
If only I'd known before playing three hours of it just now! Oh noes!
Game plays fine here.
As an aside, gout *sucks*.
In the wrist? owie.
I get gout in my big-toe joins(both), and right elbow.
That's bad enough, but wrist? How are you supposed to jer.... erm... operate a mouse like that?
