I had 1280x720p but now I can't get it back.

I had the perfect resolution 1280x720(720p) however when I went to change it to play around with some in game menus (i wanted to see if i could get some squished text to become less squished) the game won't let me put it back. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you can't change it in-game then your only option is to registry edit.

Open the 'Run' command in windows and type

regedit

Navigate to

HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/AppDataLow/Ludeon Studios/RimWorld by Ludeon Studios

Inside will be 5 keys, but you only want two of them. One called 'Screenmanager Resolution Height', the other width.
Change them as necessary, making sure to edit them in Base Decimal.

You should also note that you may lose the top of some menus. 720 height is slightly below the game's minimum required of 768. You may be able to adjust that by manually changing the ui factor in the config file. Instead of the default 1.0 or the larger numbers available via the options, perhaps try something like 0.9.
