Easiest way to relocate?
So I've used up all the resources on my part of the map.
I'm too far away from the "free ride" spaceship and from other clans/tribes/towns.

How do I bring all my loot and move on the most efficient way?

deconstruct everything make a caravan move the important stuff and all your colonists to a new point on the map and settle there.

i just learned how after getting hit by 4 attacks in 1 day.

Just got a buttload of droppods and was about to move out. Firing of my armade it started popping up "content lost due to no colonist". This even when I was "firing" them at my caravans... So... Am I screwed and have to dismantle all my droppods and cry?

You don't need to relocate just because resources ran out. Either set the number of colonies allowed to 2 in options or get the "Set up camp" mod that allows you to make temp camps on a tiny map with caravans without generating a full colony map. Then set up a sattelite resource colony and ship resources back to your capital.

It's a lot easier than moving the whole main base.

I decide upfront now if I will stay in place or try to make it to the pickup point. If I decide to stay, I build a proper base, otherwise I minimize the time I spend on the base itself and just go for upgrades to my people. There's no point trying to move once I'm already fully established.
