I want to know too.

But I imagine telling the to rest in a hospital bed then clicking on the settler in question, then health then a bill section should be available. Beyond that you will have to ask someone else.

Click on your pawn's Health tab.
Select the appropriate surgical procedure.
With your pawn selected, right click on a medical/hospital bed and instruct them to go rest until healed.
Then select your surgeon to go perform the operation. They will require medicine and whatever additional materials that are required to do so.

Select the colonist and add bill for the operation in question. You must also select at least herbal medicine.

He'll then lay down in a medicial bed and any guys marked as doctor will perform the OP. But you can order the guy to go bed and order a doctor to operate.

Operations can fail, having a high skill doctor (esp with any boosts to manipulation, check surgery success chance in char sheet), a sterile hospital with medicial beds, a vital monitor and a sun lamp as well as glitterworld medicine guranteeds that it will work out. If your chance is low you might kill your pawn and destroy the bionics so be careful.

Yes, put the colonist in a medical bed, preferably in a room with sterile floors (or not if you want to roll the dice on infection). Select the colonist needing surgery, then open a bill and choose the surgery. Be careful you chooset he right limb if you're choosing limbs :)
