Mod to remove fire (whole map burning)
So yeah basically A flashstorm happened...and boom..the whole map burned with no possibility for me to extinguish it as it was WAY too big too fast.I managed to protect my base BUT...no more trees or ressources on the whole map...Fire is way too OP.

I'm ok with dudes throwing molotovs or even electric fires..but those storms...theres no way to actually fight it.

Make firebreaks on your maps to limit the damage I do that on my maps and it keep my Colony safe.

1. Build Flooring aound your crops it worth it protact them fires and help move around lot faster.
2. make it either 2 or 3 thick no fire can jump it works great if you have wooden buildings.

Yep, works like a charm. Only problem is that stone floors take quite a while for large areas, while concrete is quick and easy but uses up your steel. Either one is better than watching your town burn to the ground, though!

Wood floors don't burn. If you are still early game and building with wood, then surrounding your base with a 2 wide wood floor will protect it from fire. Trying to protect the map in general is pointless because as I mentioned, the game is programmed to start raining after a certain number of fires are lit. I've never seen more than about 20% of a 300x300 map burn.
