How do I clear snow?

I created a clear snow area and my colonist with cleaning in top priority will just clean stuff and wont shovel the snow

Just build a pathway out of wood or something. Icesheet so probably concrete but still you will move faster along it and the ice dissapears under it untill you remove the floor you built. Just leave it as a snow clearing zone otherwise, even without snowfall, drifting will cause it to become coverd.
