(B18) Possible to remove burned wood floor?

I saw a lot of "floors do not burn" on forums, so used wood floor a lot. During the fire it turned out they do burn (since A17?), so a big portion of my base is charred rubble now. The problem is I can't rebuild over burned floor tiles, nor I can lay another type of floor over it. Is it impossible to reuse burned space or is there a way which I am missing? Or maybe it's a bug?

Can't you use Remove Floor from the floors tab?

Edit: sorry for dumb question, but this game frequently allows to do one thing in several ways, for example i always removed floors by laying another floor over it.
