"Attending a Party" Never Ends
So my colonists, on multiple saves, are now stuck in never ending parties. They just attend the party until they eventually die. Using a lot of mods and none that would seem to impact behavior regarding parties, so does anyone have any idea what kind of mods I should be looking for? Or any way to debug this?Help would be greatly appreciated.

What about drafting them? Or starting another event with Dev console to counter it(marriage). Or form a caravan leave map and return. As the Save might become unusable with mods being disabled

Tried drafting, they just go right back to it after. Also tried forming a caravan, but instead of leaving the map, they just all go into a different room and start "Forming Caravan: Moving" in a different room until they die. Not sure how to go about starting another event with dev console though.

Could also Try killing all your pawns then reviving them it's in Dev mode too.

Well the best way to go about this is to create new saves disabling different mods then starting parties (Dev mode event) to see if the bugs caused by a certain mod

'm having this issue even on new games. not sure how to fix it.

Is there a way to auto-lock threads over a year old? Is that a thing that can happen?

your welcome to unsubscribe from the discussion. but if people are searching online for answers like I did, this thread shows up on top. a workaround I have is select all the pawns at once draft them all and it cancels the event. the issue will come back again but it at least keeps them all from starving or going on mental breaks and resume normal AI stuff. some discussions suggest its related to psychology mod but I haven't proved that is the case yet.

I also found this thread by searching for answers. One way that resolved it for me was scheduling everyone to work at the same time. They all left the party and it was 'called off'. Didn't get the bonuses for it but it did end the party at least. I also have the psychology mod. Hope this helps.

What is it with people and their issue with "necro" threads? No seriously? What is the problem with a thread that is still relevant being continued years later?

I draft everyone and make them go stand outside (in my case in the rain, which seemed apt), it cancels the event and no bonus is given, but considering they had eaten all the food and were starting in on the food paste I thought it better than letting it continue. I don't have psychology installed. I have played this game for years (and lots of mods) without this happening to me before.
