Ways to prevent heatstroke when travelling?
I am settled down in a swamp area. Any time I travel, my colonists get immediate heatstroke. After a few days, they WILL go down.

The temperatures get up to 130 degrees F, even without a heat wave devastating the area. How am I supposed to travel in this temperature? It's insane.

Unless I want my people travelling naked, but I need them to have armor on, or else they will die fighting the enemies.

I don't care if a solution is in mods, or the development mode. Just something to allow me to travel for more than a few days at most.

- clothing with heat insulation, dusters, cowboy hats, etc.
- Travel light, if armor is overheating take it off
- Droppod research

Oh ♥♥♥♥, that's right. Those drop pod things. I almost forgot about those.

I can't use dusters or anything, I am using modded armors. But I have the drop pods researched, I just never used them before. Thanks!

Armor is pretty overrated from my experience. I would value clothing over armor on a caravan

I mean, it's not really a "caravan", per se. I only travel to kill raider groups and rescue refugees. Both of which can be dangerous. If I was travelling to a nearby settlement to trade, that would be a different story.
