Worst cover
Which cover provides the lowest protection, and also slows people?

Is it slag at 50%? Or do bushes slow people?

You should be able to click on anything, and then in its info window, click the lower case i to see for information, including cover. Try sandbags and walls, they should be the best cover, not sure of the numbers though.

I want worst cover. Trying to force the ai to use bad cover to give me an advantage in a heavy defence map i made. Sandbags are 65, slag and chunks are 50, bushes are 20.

I believe that the worst cover that you can build are animal sleeping boxes and animal beds, at 15% each. I used sleeping boxes as enemy cover in a killbox before, but found that I had to replace them often due to how fragile they are even when made out of granite, so keep that in mind. Then again, that might be a valuable feature.

Do they slow people down when they cross over them?

I have a kill tunnel and at one end are my pawns, and i dont want to line the whole thing in sand bags to slow down melee tribals. The archers just benefit too much from cover. But if sleeping boxes work the same as sandbags, just worse, they could work......

I think so? Most things do slow when you move onto them. You don't want to line the whole thing in anything, though - you need to have a line of obstacles, then a line of nothing, then another line of obstacles, since things are only slowed when they go from on no obstacle to on an obstacle.

I know, i was putting deadfall traps in the blank spaces.

I wish 40+ turrets didnt kill the game. Would make my defense map so much more fun

grab the medieval times mod, it includes wooden barricades (35% cover) and caltrops (0%) that slow enemies

Those would help.

Its dumb that our colonists can build a spaceship and solar panels, but cant make razorwire......

Razor wire would be super useful, but could be a bit unbalanced depending on how it was implimented. I would love to see more kinds of traps too, like snares, nets, and swinging logs etc that could hit multiple people. Also mines and ieds would be cool.

When a deadfall trap blasts off a leg that slows them down heh.
