can you remove implants?

so i installed some stuff in my colonists, and its had some effects that are less then ideal, is there away to uninstall the implants? specifically a neurostimulator that everyone has, which i didn;t even know the effects of and is preventing them from hearing or talking. i cant seem to preform any operations to uninstall the darn things from my colonists.

Neurostimulators... no... as they are in the brain, so you can only cram stuff in there, given the average RimWorld doctor's skill they'd probably rip a good chunk of grey matter out at the same time.

Bionics and other prosthetics though can be extracted with only the average risk of sugical failure, where an operation on the leg results in a knife through the eye.

ah well, ended up using debug tools to restore thier brains. they lost a bunch of other implants that were good, but it was better then having them deaf and dumb
