To many stone chunks?

I have to many chunks and not enough people to make blocks from the chunks. Hauling them starts to cost a lot of time cause a lot of the areas around me are already "full" of them. What should I do?

store them into temporary places that dont have a function yet
you will need those chunks eventually so dont throw them out or else you will need to haul them back in again later

Then you're going to have chunks.

Turn them into blocks. Cover every stone wall with block walls. Make lots of statues for selling. I have a cave base, and I don't have a chunk problem.

I just set some prisoner i captured to craft forever and then one day i had 20000 marble blocks and 10000 granite blocks so i decided he earned a bedroom of his very own. cutting a chunk only makes 20 stone blocks so you cant craft three and itll save 2 spaces on the map and usually your colonists won't haul them unless they are prioritizes to be hauled. make a dumping zone near where raiders wil lcome in it will slow them down if they have to walk through alot of chunks, and if you don't take chunks out of your mountain home it will look ugly and your own people will burn it to the ground.

make huge dumping stockpiles outside of your main entrance. this will slow enemies down alot.
next step would be to get alot of snipers.

Chunks also act as cover, so it won't really do anything good. Well, maybe if you use fire weapons.

Sell them off ? What I usually do when I make mountain bases. That way I have extra cash later on for other stuff I might need like Glitterworld meds etc..

If anyone actually bought stone chunks, yeah.

Just cut them into blocks and store them outside with the rest of the chunks you haul off. At least thats what i do, make a big "Chunk yard" and haul the stuff right out of the mountain. Store blocks there too to save space inside. Not like they break down if they arent roofed or anything.
