But.. Bears don't eat hay.. You could use the hay to make them some kibble?

Anyway, try this mod. Might be what you're looking for.

so they'll eat your livestock instead of your livestock's food, I guess.

I just draft a hunting party whenever I see a bear. It's just a matter of time before they happen to be close and hungry at the same time. Same for timber wolves.

i have got like 30 tamed bears... real mess but no raid is too strong...make them want to run when they see 20 bears charging at them

I'm not really a Rimworld modding expert, but I took a quick look and here's what I found.

First find where steam installed your game. For me, it was here.
Steam\steamapps\common\RimWorld\Mods\Core\Defs\ThingDefs_Races\

The file we want to change is: Races_Animal_Bears.xml

Next, backup this file before you edit it. This is important in case I'm totally wrong and/or you accidentally destroy something. I've changed wargs to eat kibble for my own use, but I've never messed with the bears. It should be the same concept, but buyer beware. :)

After the backup is someplace safe, open the Races_Animal_Bears.xml file and change this line
<foodType>OmnivoreAnimal, OvivoreAnimal</foodType>
to
<foodType>OmnivoreRoughAnimal, OvivoreAnimal</foodType>

And finally, if it doesn't work, I'm out of ideas, so delete the edited file and replace with your backup. And if it is still broken after that, then verify your game cache.

Good luck and happy experimenting.
