Leave room, lights off; how?

I'd like to set my colonists to turn off their bedroom lights during the day, and turn off work area lights at night. I know there's switches to turn power on and off, and a flick task(not sure if it's considered "stupid" or "skilled" labor, preventing certain people from doing it), but I also don't want one or more settlers running around just to set lighting to day/night configurations.

just set all your colonists Basic work to priority 1.
