Emu eggs
Silly question, a visitor just left me 110 fertilized Emu eggs, I'm tempted to hatch all 110 (or at least try). Does anyone think this will bog down the game or break anything?

You should give a try, you will get so much meat and leather if you let them grow, and just set aside a few pairs of males and females so you can keep a nice little farm going, and just slaughter the rest. They will need tons of food, but a decent sized hay farm can do it if you have the right conditions.

Had a better idea than killing them, gonna train them all for attack, then zerg rush a pirate colony for fun. Downside is if anyone bonds with any of them they're going to have a mood dampener for a long time...

Emu's are one of the nastiest animals to fight against.
Fast, good dps and their attacks apply a short stun as well.
Get a herd of those things roaming around and you have yourself a small army.

Yeah, they just hatched so now I have to wait for them to grow up enough so I can move them to their new pen...

Yeah, I got 4 handlers at level 10, one at 15, and another at 20. We're in the process of trying to tame all of them. It's going to take awhile...

I'm playing with Pheobe Chillax on "Some Challenge" difficulty so I've been able to not lose anyone yet... lost a few limbs here and there, but nothing major, I renamed one colonist to Woody since he is pretty much a head and torso only with the rest being cheap prosthetics since I can't make good ones yet.

On a side note, the taming is not going well... Already murdered about 10 of them from going mad and I'd be surprised if 3 of the tamers never want to tame another emu again.

You are repeating the mistakes of the past.

Just ask Australia.
