How To Temperature Control With No Hassel
I have found out a way to have all my rooms and a target temperature (21 Degrees) with a cold snap or heatwave. Put a heater and a cool in the same room! If there is a cold snap, the heater will automatically turn on to hit the target temperature and the cooler will turn off because it is past its target temperature and vice-versa. For example, have 1 heater and one cooler in the same room, now set them both to 21 degrees Celsius. If the cold snap brings it below 21 Degrees, the cooler will automatically turn off and the heater will automatically turn on. This might be already known to most players but I just want to put it out there.

How does that matter?

Because in a different biome like tundra or desert it wouldn't be that simple ;/.

What I do is somethijg similar, but set a cooler to 10C, heater to around 25, that way it isn't on 24-7

Even in a temperate forest it might not be enough, i had a heat wave at 60+C and even 2 coolers at -100 could not keep a rather small freezer below 0.

Your stragety is good but it's to costly! (well atleast for my randomized selecting flat biomes usally)

Also the infeastions may break your heaters and coolers before you can burn them up sometimes.

Your heaters/coolers always can only output X, so if the temperatre is 50C, if your coolers are set to 10C or -10000C, they'll output the same amount.

It worked for me, all my rooms were at 21 degrees with my setup

costly yes, I had no power problems tho, just the fact of components

(I think you meant the other way around!)
Better to have the heater set to 20 instead, sometimes the cooler and heater end up competing (and wasting power) but the temperature gap helps as you can use fewer generators.

I don't think so?
If the temp- yuuuup.
Flip that. And I wonder why my power is always terrible.

Cool idea, that might work better, but I had no power problems because of the 2 Geo Gens
