Cannibals
So when you start feeding colonist human meat... I noticed that the odd one will enjoy eating human and will become a cannibal.

Will all colonist eventually accept the fact that the only meat is human and stop having a bad mood because of it? Or do i just need to eat those ones and keep only the colonist that enjoy eating humans?

Colonists don't gain traits during the game. If they don't start with the trait then they will never enjoy or tolerate eating human meat.

Oh maybe I didn't notice the new colonist that had it before hand. I thought it just got added to the traits after that colonist ate human meat and liked it.

they never get used to it.

i've experienced a spiral of doom, the last girl standing ended up being plain crazy.

Yeah just need to sort through and just eat all the non-cannibals.. :)

I just wish you could create your own character rather then randomize so I can choose that trait right off the bat instead of randomizing until I find one that is half decent.

If you want to play a cannibal game it makes things a lot easier to set up a forced trait in your scenario so whatever percent you want of pawns will have the trait. 100% means every pawn you get will have it, makes it very easy, or you could drop it to like 10-20% to make it a little harder but so you aren't going years without getting a compatible recruit.

Would be nice if you could "convert" people feeding them some nice steaks until they like it ^^.

The game somehow lacks the ability to be slave traders, cannibals or organ traders, etc. in a practical way. Sure you can be picky, but find good colonists that are also cannibals.Have fun and luck ^^

Maybe it needs some sort of a virtue system you can choose for a colony, each with its methods to try to make others follow this.

On a related topic I would actually really like to see a more organic system where people could gain or lose traits depending on their experiences and circumstances throughout the game. Characters that could grow or fall over time beyond just their job skills. For a game that has strong emphasis on emergent storylines and such I'm kind of surprised it wasn't already that way.

You can and you don't need mods. Create a custom game and force trait Cannibal on your people. You can also force trait Cannibal on everyone so that even new people that join are cannibals.

The most fun I've had in game so far was my cannibal tribe.

My understanding is that you can buy and sell slaves, but you can only do so with slave trader caravans. I've seen them come through, but not acutally bought or sold anyone.

Yeah... There needs to be a re-education centre so you can brainwash colonist to make them conform.

So slave traders get bad mood when they sell slaves?
Also have to check if it is possible to raid a settlement without wiping it out, just to take some slaves.
