RimWorld
Mod mismatch
I'm getting this error because one of the mods recently altered its name. That's it. Now it refuses to load up the game. Is there any way I can change it back in my workshop folder?

I just realized the name hasn't changed at all. It's a whole new mod entirely because I recall having to resubscribe to it. If you look at the mod mismatch I posted you can see the [16] is gone. Any idea how I could fix this?

You can ignore that message.

I tried loading anyway but it still conflicts somehow. Even though it's the exact same mod it still gives me an error.

That's odd, the game doesn't care what the mods are called or where the mod data is, it merges everything together into one game instance, so it really shouldn't matter. In any case did you check your mod list? I still have Enhanced Crafting [16] on my mod list and I'm still using it, I didn't even notice he removed the temp version.

What some mod authers did was after A16 came out they left their original mods alone so people with A15 games they wanted to continue weren't interupted, and created a new instance of their mod specifically for A16. I guess AC felt it had been long enough since A16 came out to update the originals and remove the temp versions.

The mod list from my game and what I have currently loaded are completely identical, except for that [16] part. I checked on the Enhanced Crafting [16] workshop page but apparently it was removed by the owner, so I'm not sure how you're still using it. Could you post a link to the source?

I mean Steam doesn't delete a mod from your PC if it's removed from the workshop. If you click on mods on the main game page and scroll down AC Enhanced Crafting (16) should still be there unless you manually deleted it. It's moot anyway, that's almost certainly not what's causing your crash. I just tested it and switching between the two different named versions of the mod doesn't cause any issues at all for me.

Post a crash log.

I was really hoping that was the problem since it's the only thing that stood out to me. I'm at a loss. Anyway, here's the output_log. The file was too large for a pastebin so I used dropbox.

You are missing this:

And it looks like maybe another mod that added weapon research or crafting that I don't recognize.

Just tried it but sadly it didn't work. How'd you find out my game was missing Astra? Because I couldn't find a trace of the mod in the log or missing mod list.
Astasia 7 ENE 2017 a las 0:32
In the log there were a bunch of errors related to ceramite and other resources from that mod, then I looked at the mod list you posted earlier and saw you had the turret mod installed without the core mod, and I know from using those mods that the turret mod requires the core mod.

There were also errors related to Pistol and Sniper Rifle techs and such, and 'RE' prefixed weapons, I don't know if those were RT's Weapon Pack issues or if you had another mod missing. I don't know which mod adds those techs so I can't narrow down the cause of those errors.

Delete all your mods then try it

@Astasia The Astra addon didn't give me any trouble before. Tried running the game with the core active and both removed but nothing changed. I'm not sure about the guns either, testing that out now.

@Dodsmania I wish I could but since I've been playing with nearly all of them from the start my save became dependent on them. It won't work without them regardless.

I don't see how that could be the case. The Astra core mod is what adds all the resources you need to craft the stuff in the turret mod with. IE the turrets are crafted with ceramite and imperial components and powercores, none of those items are defined in the turret mod, they are only in the core mod. There is no way it would have ever worked without the core, and the vast majority of the errors in your log are related to the game not having any idea what those resources are.

Make sure the core mod is loaded above the turret mod on your list.

Maybe just start a new save, it may be bugged
Gordon Vrijman 7 ENE 2017 a las 6:25
The thing is I lacked the core mod before I generated my world. I just had the addon at the time, so there shouldn't be any ceramite around in the first place, if that's what the core offers I mean.
I'm almost certain it must have something to do with AC, as it's the only thing that really changed in my mod list.

And yeah the core mod was listed above the addon this time, yet somehow it's still telling me I'm missing ceramite.
