Can't use component assembly! [FIXED]
Whenever I click on a colonist with low skill, then right click on the bench, it would say the skill is too low but when I click on colonist with crafting 10+ then right click on bench, nothing happens or shows up.

FIXED: Always check to see if you have any unfinished component and cancel it.

Do you have a bill created that has an amount for them to do? Have materials? Read the info on the right side of the bill details. Pawn n the correct zone? Try creating a new bill also. You could also try zoning the colonist to the table and materials.

It is smithing. I had a problem the other day where I couldn't have a night owl prioritize it because someone else had a project on the bench: most other benches they will just move the on-going thing and work on the next in queue project.

Honesty, the info box would had shown up saying it needs more materials, I set it have up to 50. Nothing is in the way for the smithist to get to the white circle. Not really new to crafting/smithing but this is an issue I never had :/

Hmm, well I see nothing on the bench so I assume there is no on-going project, but I'll check again.

DARN! Okay, found the stupid solution. I have found an UNfinished component lying and doing nothing in my storage room, silently telling me "halp me halp me halp me". So, I clicked to cancel it and now the colonist can smith.

A good fix for this as well is to set up multiple bills for creating components so that if someone leaves a component unfinished that a new colonist will still be able to make new components on the separate bill.
