Error while loading a map. Please help! (Solved)

Hello, while trying to load my game I got this

Error while loading a map

An error occurred while loading a map. See error log for more information

Nothings changed and no mods updated, And I was playing lastnight.. and while trying to find the error log, I only see ones from an older date, nothing since the new year. also this is a permadeath save so I dont have any backup, is there anything I can do?

Check C:\Users\<user>\AppData\LocalLow\Ludeon Studios\RimWorld by Ludeon Studios\output_log.txt

Also, sometimes the fix for this is to just quit the game fully and try again.

Thanks for the replay, however C:\Users\<Myuser>\AppData\LocalLow\Ludeon Studios\RimWorld by Ludeon Studios\ -
only contains folders, none of which contain output_log.txt

Edit: I've also tried quiting and reloading :( no change.

I've tried that aswell, no luck. everytime it loads to 90% of assets then pops the error.. really wish I could locate the log, but I've dug through all the folders and I dont see anything

You're playing with mods? Have you tried vanilla only?

Yes, with mods, this is what I have enabled http://i.imgur.com/BCSiYtB.png , none of these updated since lastnight... By vanilla only, do you mean try disabling the mods and loading?

after looking at another thread I saw someone else had pretty much the same issue and apperently Psychology did have an update an was split into two mods

Sorry for the slight necro, but I'm having this issue as well. Have both Psychology & Expanded Incidents and Psych is second to last, EI right below it in mod order. Disabling Psychology helps. But I'd been playing saves prior to today and not having this issue. :( Any ideas?

this has happned to me twice now. pissed off. i bought this game a few days ago and was really enjoying it. this was my second game. first one was lost due to this also.

Hey guys,

This is a huge long shot but I have begun getting this error as well. It has already made two games I have drained a ton of time into unplayable. I am not playing with any mods or anything just vanilla..... any ideas? :(

I had the same problem today. I went in to the save game folder (C:\users\<user>\AppData\LocalLow\Ludeon Studios\RimWorld by Ludeon Studios\Saves) and recovered from the rws.old save by renaming the current save and then removing the .old section.
