Problem with wool cloth
Hello everyone,
One of my many mods has activated the feature that enabled me to make cloth out of wool but I forgot which one, I think however that it is "Area Rugs v1.04". I was happy that I could make cloth using my animals as a textile source and not having to plant cotton or devilstrand. The problem is that this wool cloth does not seem to count as a viable resource to make e.g. a backpack or a tactical vest that requires cloth. Did any of you have the same experience? Have you found out what to do with wool cloth then?
Thanks in advance for your help!

Wool Cloth is only usable to make the florring type rugs via that mod. I don't think you can even use it for the artistic throw rugs. I was dissapointed with that too.

If you wanted to dig around in the mod folder, all you might need to do is add the "Cloth" item type tag to the Woolcloth Thingdef. It may need some basic stats as well....if I take a look I'll post back.

That said, if you already have alpacas/muffalos/camels you can use their specific wool directly for most clothing and all three are pretty great.

Thank you for the advice! If tinkering with the stats helps I might look into it, however I lack experience with such things.
Yes for clothing they are wonderful, unfortunately though for a tactical vest (pawns are complaining about damaged apparel and when I tell them to drop the vest which they dont need they will put them on again later) needs specifically cloth. Im starting to grow the respective crops to solve this which is easy enough, I just wondered about this little logic hole. Still having a lot of fun with this great game!
