My whole economy revolves around looting raiders and selling the loot. I rarely produce anything for trade.

mass produce flake. easiest way.
if you dont want drugs then go for mass devilstrand clothes and chairs.
leter on if you have enough alpacas, alpaca chairs.
or you can mass produce fine meals.

drugs and meals nealry every trader buys.
and you should call in friendly factions for trade with the comms console.
sell all your stuff and repeat few days later.

i dont have nearly as much experience as you do and im most likely not as late game so i dont know how fast or how much you need compared to me, but heres what i do for a decent amount.

I first started out with making small art sculptures and whenever i made a caravan i had a few go with to sell for ~100 each.
Now i have a 13x10 hop farm, someone making wort whenever they get harvested, and about 20 fermenting barrels. Beer sells to about anyone so i will usually wait for a trader to come in comm range or just show up.
yayo and wake up are also a good amount of profit if you mass produce it. They are really lightweight too so taking them on a caravan run is really easy too.
I am not super focused on the amount of silver i have right now in my game, and im sure theres some better ways to make it, but this is just what i do.
I can usually sellout the trader of all his silver whenever they show up though, so it seems to be worker pretty well for the time being.

i just looked up the ops screenshot, it seems he is plying on a cold biome in the mountains.
there the most comfortable way is to go mass sculptures, cause you cant really afford big devilstrand/psychite fields.
you want to dig in the moutains anyway, so much stone to work on.
with 2-3 dedicated artists you can spam sculptures out of nowhere if they reach a good level.
but it is very labor intensive, means that if you want to build up your base and need every hand
for work then an artist is a wasted slot.
but sculptures are good money.

There are many ways to make money in this game.

You can build furniture from wood or stone, which is usually in good supply on most maps, and they sell for a moderate price. You can craft drugs or clothes from leathers, cloth, or devilstrand that can be sold to almost every trader. You can craft Art work to sell. You can raise animals to sell to traders. Or use the products they produce to sell to traders. The ways of making money in this game are endless and even producing wooden chairs, which are very easy to produce, will net you a decent profit for the amount of work involved.

Personally, I produce Flake. If you don't have a problem with drugs in the game you can grow smokeleaf on day 1 and turn it into smokeleaf joints. There's a lot of money to be made doing that but once you get research i'd recommend moving to Flake.

Flake is worth more per plant used to create the end product than Yayo is.

http://rimworldwiki.com/wiki/Flake

However, it is a notably better drug to sell than Yayo because of the return per psychoid leaves: Yayo has a market value of 22 silver for the cost of 14 psychoid leaves, whereas Flake has a market value of 15 silver, but only for 7 psychoid leaves. This means that if you manufacture and sell Flake; you'll get a roughly 36.4% better return of silver compared to if you were to manufacture and sell Yayo instead.

Think the answer will be different depending on the biome.

Coms console and someone making art out of stoneblocks non-stop.

If you got a guy who is amazing at building, you get a ton of money with trumbo fur chairs, and if you got money to begin with, you can try and make silver royal bed, if you get it masterwork it will sell for atleast 5000, but costs like 2500 to make, still free +2500.
