(hf gl defending 40 tribals on double or triple speed with NO PAUSE)

idea 1:
an online world where other players have a colony on the same map so you can have pvp action,some diplo and allies.
idea 2:
shared colonist for a co-op experiance...basicly red and blue colonist in the same colony...you could setup wich colinst would belong to who and wich computer to listen to.
so this basicly is working as a team to build one big colony. ( or 5 the max )
( you can always pick another color to fit a new player but i think the amount of players this way is limited by the amount of colonists in the colony.)
if you have 1 colonist well then you need to wait till a wandere joins for the other player.
as for the speed of the game it should either be changeble throug a voting system,anyone or host can only.
so the server setup sets who can pause or speed up/down.
thats how i would imagine multiplayer.
i would realy love a 2 player co-op mode that would be enough,but an online world would be just as cool.
will be alot of code....but thats just the way games are made.
and **** mods.
i want it to be a part of vannila!
mods are cool,but if you want it done with full support then the dev should make it,or youll get stuck with another out of date mod.
just for you guys info europa universalis 4 also has a speed 1,2,3 and pause optiond and it has 254 slots per server.
i know its a diffrent game but the same basic time system works in multiplayer and is the same as rimworlds.
also youll get used to the not being able to pause real quick..
This will never happen for many reasons.
The only way I can see multiplayer in Rimworld would be some type of quickplay match of pvp.
