Hauling priority mod?
Anyone know of a mod that allows you to prioritize what, specifically, you want your pawns to haul first? For example, set them to haul food, even if it isn't the closest item to them, or haul the legendary sniper rifle sitting ten tiles away instead of the single component at the farthest edge of the map that will deteriorate before they get there.

I've wanted this too but then I realized that just right clicking and prioritizing does the trick. Sure, it can be a bit tedious when you need to haul a ton of rice to your freezer but it's not like you're super busy doing other stuff when in normal speed, the game is pretty chill that way.

What I do think would fix this though is for, when you prioritize an action, your colonist to repeat that action for as long as relevant. For example: prioritize hauling rice = do that until all rice is picked. Prioritize building power grid = do that until the whole path is set.

Do you guys know where I should post this as a feature request for the devs?

Thanks, looks like it has more stuff than I need, but I'll give it a try.

That would be great, probably post on the Ludeon forums, though I'm sure a mod would be necessary for now.

It doesn't have anything you don't need in it. You need everything in Allow Tool, everyone does. It should be a mandatory install, and merged into the base game eventually.

Building things and hauling crops are not a necessity. This game isn't about micro-management it is about priorities and area management. Get correct zones for cooking(minimum radius), place max priority for a 1-tile stock pile around cooking place with meat-crops-eggs/milk and set cooks to 1 cooking and hauling and restrict them to be only inside of your base so if they can't cook they will bring crops to their workplace. Same can be done for some inside-of-the-base haulers

For building things I can reccomend http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=776679895&searchtext=Haul+me+that+brick
it makes building things faster because haulers can bring materials required.

Allow tool is used for urgent hauling of cargo or distant stuff because of how hauling works - closer things will be hauled before distant ones and that could take a while.

I agree, Allow tool is wonderful! I installed it for one thing, and slowly started using more and more of it.
