When using some mod with really high value,
some people got raids so big, it was taking 10 minutes to load it.

I don't think there is a limit.
That would be boring if there was one anyways.

Eh, at a certain point it should stop getting bigger, and instead just to save fps make people a bit stronger, and they should stop limiting the huge weapons, since those really do help quite alot to make raids not only more fps friendly, but harder in general, 1 minigun raider is probably better than 3 pdf raiders :P

at a point raider gear really doesnt matter. when u got 8+ people shooting 1 person good chance hes dead even more chance if u got turrets to so in the end bigger tribal raids more dangerous than the geared raids

Yeah, but like I said I really think raiders should start becoming more powerful, Maybe not as a actual thing in the default game, but as a mod or a option while generating your world to make it so that rather than getting huge raids that crash you instantly, you instead get decently big raids with raiders that are just stronger than you can ever get your pawns by any means, maybe like combining raiders healthpools into 1 raider, and then giving them some huge upgrades to their combat ability, and maybe armor that is just above legendary tier but when dropped is dropped as if it was just your normal generated armor, aslong as its a choice that you dont have to do, it would seriously help keep down hour long waits between each movement of your screen, while allowing those people who dont care about melting their computer to melt their computer, plus while some people may say otherwise, that could be a really cool story telling element "As normal, we were raided, but the raiders... they seemed... stronger somehow, in ways I cant describe".

ok new question is there a way to turn off raiding and anything else that would scale to the point i can't build my base any more?
I hate the idea of not being able to play just because i have been playing a save to much i would like a cap so i could still get raids but if i can't have that can i just get rid of scaleing then?

Your best bet then is to do Phoebe Basebuilder on the lowest difficulty.

Unless it's been changed, scaling goes off: 1.) wealth (not just silver, but EVERYTHING you have), 2.) time that has passed, and 3.) (I believe) how many colonists you have. It will continue scaling indefinitely, because the game isn't designed for long, LONG play (yet), but the lower the difficulty and with that particular storyteller, things should be lighter and much less frequent for longer.

Phoebe raid difficulty is the same as Cassandra.
Tge ONLY difference between them is phoebe events happen
less often.
