At some point, maybe Beta 18, hay was removed from the list of materials you can use for making chemfuel. So, since nobody will buy it, there's no way to burn it, and I have enough hay to last my animals for years... I'm stuck with hundreds of bails of it on my map. =/

What are you talking about? Hay burns just fine. That said, you can make kibble with it.

It seems obvious, but maybe try redrawing your growing zones? less hay more potatoes?
