Barely any trade ships
I played already tons of games, with my current mod list it's my third game and until now i had never a problem with trade ships, they came pretty often and I have even a mod for more trade ships but in my current game I'm lucky if 1 trade ship comes in a year.

I would like to know if something preventing them from coming or why they come so less. I barely get any caravan visiting too especially since i accidently shoot an friendly trader.

Use the "Caravan spot" mod to mark where caravans should be (in a safe spot when raids occur) to prevent friendly fire. Trade ships are just rare in general so you can't really rely on them. Best way to make trade is to be friendly with a faction and request a trade caravan, the price should cost 300 sliver, if not gift them untill it does.

Ya i know the drill, i puted it on my front door but ♥♥♥♥ got loose as a massive raider force broke through the back, i didn't watched out and one of my guys shooted him, but they were only tribe traiders, so not the best stuff.

I never had any problems with trade ships, in the last 2 games with the same mod list i got around 2 trade ships in a month, which was pretty good, but in my current game 1 in a year. Thats why its so confusing, i didn't changed anything, no new mods, just suddenly less trade ships.

ehh, yes. oh wow, now it makes sense, that was the only thing i changed. I didn't thought that the storyteller also change such stuff...

I love Randy Random. Even when he spreads Malaria / Muscle parasites and everyone dies..

I hate him, I played him twice he rarely gave my coloniest diseases and raids. All he did was send ALOT of cargo pods, was quiet boring.
