Do factions spawn mid game?

Just wondering because I only see one outlander faction, and 2 tribals. I had heard of others having more? Tribals are hard to recruit at 99% difficulty so seeing them with fantastic stats just makes it all the worse. I dont want to piss off the only civilized faction that interacts with meby arresting and then recruiting theirs either.

As far I know, no new factions will
spawn during the game. The mod faction
discovery can add mods factions on an already existing game buuut...
it used to also add new vanilla factions as you play.
Not sure if it still do that.

There is also a mod that simply add more vanilla factions
at the game start but I don't remember the name of it...
and I am on a mobile right now. not the best for researches :p

does the orion faction discovery create the new factions or just enable them to be discovered mid game? Im not interested in fantasy factions, catpeople etc. I would run medieval times but it needs a new game

the race packs (Chrystaloid, Orassan, Dwarves, etc.) will add those factions to the map. There are also hidden factions placed on the map when you start the game too. one of each type i believe. meanwhile this mod http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=830221184 will add more factions by default.

says its compatible with save game but needs a new game hm...probably saying that only orion helps this situation? Did you mean that this mod adds hidden factions? As in vanilla factions?
