Cooking without a stove

Quick question that is tripping me up. I started a group that has tech low enough they don't have a stove (wandering tribe) and now I literally do not know how to cook meat to survive until my plants mature, and even then, how do I prep meals?

I am sure that I have seen a campfire among the buildable furniture for colonists (and I guess it is also available for colonies ith a tribal start).
I have no doubt that, aside from keeping your colonists warm it can also be used for cooking

it can also be used for cooking and will be used as a social relaxation spot like a table would
the all in one cooking and eating apparatus for tribals

Pretty sure you can make pemmican from the crafting spot.

Campfire, and btw if you are playing a tribal game you should consider using the two "Medieval" mods, they add a ton of low tech stuff that works great with tribal colonies.

no you can make kibble, but pemmican needs cooking

Campfires are pretty easy to come by. 20 pieces of wood to start it up and it lasts about 2 days. It does burn out if you let rain get to it, so just be sure to roof it. You can only cook simple meals on it. And burn drugs and clothes.

And as someone above mentioned it can be found in the temperature tab, not furniture or production.
