One colonist is sleeping all day.
I have a colonist that's pretty much resting all day. He gets up when his rest meter is full and does a little work, then goes back to sleep. His rest meter only ever depletes like less than a fifth before he HAS to rest. If I block him in somewhere, he'll just sleep on the ground instantly.

Unless I tell him to do one of those mysterious tasks like stoneworking where the colonists aren't allowed to sleep EVER, he'll just keep going back to sleep after acruing the tiniest amount of work.

Okay, I figured it out. I forgot to treat his "Fibrous Mechanites" illness. Soon as I treated him he got up.

I think this mechanites are not dangerous. They just do pain.

Yeah, but he'll constantly want to go to a medical bed and rest until treated, which is probably why he kept running away to sleep.

lol he sleeps all day and when he isn't sleeping hes vomiting he such a bad colonst *nofication* colonist died from flu

You can unprioritize or disallow resting from non-life-threatening injuries in the work menu (I think it's "bed rest" or something of that nature) if you really want to, although it's usually better to let them recover - pain and sickness often hit the Consciousness modifier, which reduces work speed and success rate for most things. And, of course, they won't get better as fast if they're working instead of resting.

For illnesses like mechanites, unless right-click on a medical bed and explicitly choose "rest until healed" they'll mostly only rest when they need treatment. Did you have a doctor available to fix him up? Even if it's somebody untrained with no medicine it's marginally better than nothing. (I find that, inevitably, when I have only one doctor they get ALL the serious injuries and diseases...)
