Luciferium question
One of my colonists had his spine shattered by a scyther. I heard that luciferium slowly heals old injuries so I administered some to him. How long will it take for his spine to start healing? Does anyone know the health level his spine needs before he can walk again?

from what i read about it, it only heals old wounds like scars, it won't fix the spine or missing body parts

yes you need to take 1 every 6.667 days days to remain stable, if you run out of it you could toss the guy into cryptosleep till you get some more

You can get the prostheses mod, which is highly excellent and well balanced. It allows for the construction/purchase of bionic spines. They're expensive, though.

Luciferium on one colonist is usually very manageable. They only need a hit once every six days, and it doesn't make them tolerant to it or binge on it. Highly effective colonists, if you can procure the luciferium regularly, or get a big stash just for them.

I put luciferium on my main doctor, so that he virtually never fails surgeries, and is altogether a much better doctor, and, if you wanted, you could make a guy that's a doctor, give him a luciferium, keep only 1-3 as backup, and when there's a raid, bring him out, after he helps everyone, put him back... lol.

I had a guy with a shattered spine, luci healed him enough instantly so that he could walk again but I ended up killing him off a few days later, I doubt it heals such an injury just makes it so they can ignore it to a certain point. think movement was at 20%
